Smile Solved: Rich Text Formatting in Post thread option.
Please enable the rich text formatting in the post thread option so that it saves time while copying examples and excerpts from a website. And please enable text formatting option in quick reply

If it were as easy as you're making it sound, I think we would have already.

It actually is pretty easy to turn on and off in vBulletin. The problem we had when we first turned it on a few years ago is that it wasn't quite ready for prime-time and caused a lot of problems for older browsers. I'm going to look into turning it on (at least for the full post screen, maybe not the Quick Reply just yet). The problem now is that we have so many customizations to our copy of vBulletin that it might take installing a fresh one somewhere else so that I can inspect the code to get ours running.

^ thanks for that reply. I've tested that Rich Text Formatting option in other forums via different browsers and I found that it wont work in opera out of the box. But it seems to work pretty good in major browser Firefox and yes in IE 7 as well. Safari did its good job and Avant worked just like IE 7!

And I think its not much important to turn it on in quick reply, but I think its a must enable option in post thread for such a great forum

You bet. When we did the latest upgrade, we had to throw out the old design so that we could make use of new features like this. I think it will really be worth it in the long run.
