I hated it at first also but you will get used to it. Maybe not completely like it but at least there is some eye candy!

You have to keep "newcomers" in mind. I mean, they've got to find to easy to navigate around - or will bounce rate increase?

I do however like some of the AJAX features - such as the login box -- very cool!

Design is a major importance with a website. Having big <tables> can cause slow downs, therefore increasing bounce rate.

Maybe you need to click on My Account at the top of the website page and then click on Edit Options, and scroll down to Messaging and Notification and then scroll to PM's. It just might be that some of the options aren't turned on.

I get notification alright.

Is it just me or is the background a little bit darker?

More of a tan look?

I wasnt sure if the color had been changed or not (its very subtle) but there's no doubt that its easier on the eyes now. Thanks Mike!

I'm afraid I find the look too pale - it hurts my eyes to look at the page. Liked it when the colours were deeper.

Is there any way of changing the skin? Thanks.

I like the color now, E0E0D5 is much easier on the eyes than FFFFFF. Any darker and then people will complain about contrast between the background and text.

is it me or did the posts and background colours change again? Before it was a brown and curvy theme but now it's gray and boxy theme.

Hey Mike...i'm totally loving the whole "social network" thing! I could probably spend all of my time playing around in those features without ever stepping out into the regular forums!

Good stuff!
