I just also noticed that you can report individual posts! Very nice mike . Also i did notice what wacor had with the invalid page specified error. Seems to give my computer a hard time logging in. Possibility we could try the layout with the old color scheme to solve the color dilemma?

There is a "Report" link right beside the Quote and Reply links under each post.

That option existed in the previous version. There was a triangle on every post in each thread.

Have to agree with JohnWill on this one. I don't like this one bit. On some forums I am on they have a user preference setting so that you can have your own Color Scheme. Can Vbulletin not do this.

I cannot get Multi Quoting to work either.

Also on other computer that I had never logged onto Tech Guy with I could not login with the Login button. It kept giving be an invalid page. I liked the old Quick Logon we had in the Right Hand corner.

I'm not adverse to change but I think this is a bit over the top. I haven't written it off yet and sure hope I won't have to.

Here's a couple of suggestions besides getting rid of the horrid white background.....

Don't know if this is related to the upgrade, but I've received 5 email notifications about new posts in this thread in the last 40 minutes, but haven't been back to this thread at all during that time. I should only have received one notice.

You will receive a notification for each post to a thread, that you are subscribed to, as long as you are logged into TSG if Instant Notification is enabled.
It doesn't matter what thread you are viewing.

What size and type is your monitor?
What resolution is it set at?

You have more space than I do on my 17" HP monitor set at 1024 x 768.

Never used to work that way. Previously I would get one notice, then would never receive another until I re-visited that particular thread. I could spend an hour or more reading other threads in the same or a different forum after getting an email notice, then go back to the thread I received the notice on and see 4-5 replies after the one I received the notice on, and would never get a notice on those. I could even leave a tab open on that thread, and would only get one notice until I refreshed the page.

Unless it's different for the Site Comments Forum -- don't post here that often.

Check your options in the User Control Panel, you may need to set it to Once a day notifications.
Yes, the Random and Tech threads each have their own settings.

Yeah, that's part of the problem in trying to design for everyone. Most of our visitors have at least 1024x768, but many have much more. I could force the design to stay a certain width, no matter how big or small the monitor, but I think those with high resolutions (like myself) prefer to make use of the space when possible.

Thanks for all of the comments! As I said up front, this is a work in progress. I'm glad to hear that there is really only one chief complaint. I've been up programming all week, so I'm heading to bed for now, but will try to fit a little more in tomorrow morning before heading to my brother's an afternoon off.
