Umberto Eco (born January 5, 1932) is an Italian medievalist, semiotician, philosopher, literary critic and novelist, best known for his novel The Name of the Rose (Il nome della rosa, 1980), an intellectual mystery combining semiotics in fiction, biblical analysis, medieval studies and literary theory. Recently his 1988 novel Foucault's Pendulum has been described as a "thinking person's Da Vinci Code,"[1] and was re-issued by Harcourt in March 2007

I turned that off just because it's there for anyone to read and you can not delete it because it's like post in a thread.
I got PM system that can be used and it is Private.

See thread I started here on the Visitor Messages

Don't know how long the Visitor Messaging list would get because Mike never replied to the last post. But with it turned off I know it has stop growing.

I have a suggestion: put a link in our User Pref. page to our public user profile, because I always have to navigate to a forum where I posted, and then click on my username.
