You can get actual shots of the screens from Internet Archive Wayback Machine, it's very useful for finding out how a site used to look.

In 2001: http://web.archive.org/web/200103310...s.techguy.org/

Not too busy back in those days, probably only needed one server!

The color option was really nice , and I appreciate it .
I still don't like the fact that nearly 30% of screen is unused --blank but for the tools .
I looked at the archive posted >>> http://web.archive.org/web/200406220...s.techguy.org/ >>> and I still like the way the page space is used .
That format would be very hard to improve upon . >f

Remember that it's only 30% if you're using a low resolution. Most of our visitors' screens are larger than 1200 pixels wide. In developing the new site, we try to plan for the majority of users but try to adapt it for the minority.

Also, don't forget that you can turn the side bar off and switch to the old ad format. (My Account -> Edit Options -> scroll to the bottom -> Show Sidebar)

I just log out and then logged back in and the new session opened in the Khaki, as I logged out using the Classic Blue.
Does this mean that we will have to change everytime we log out?

No, it should stay with the classic blue. Try clearing your cookies and be sure to delete the TSG one and accept a new one.

Still did not work.
No big deal for me but others may have issues with it.
