You can't change it, only admin might be able to do that ...

To understand the join date you can check out this thread (if you haven't already) http://forums.techguy.org/site-comme...an-1970-a.html
The database needs to be edited to fix it.

You mean like the TSG Mobile skin option that is in the drop down box on the bottom left of any page?

I don't see this option in the skin drop-down box.

it's only there for admins,

I'm not sure if the drop down box is there at all for mobile devices though I think that the person with the mobile device is automatically given that skin, I could be wrong though,

But I remember getting into the mobile skin when the option was there for everyone (accidentally was only supposed to be for admins) and I don't remember the drop-down box being there when in the mobile version.

EDIT: see this link for more info http://forums.techguy.org/site-comme...-my-theme.html

You could probably end up with the correct date if you have an admin delete your account and then you register again (still having 1 account.)

Actually, according to this website, they existed decades before then.

There are a few of those 1969 join dates caused by data base errors. These are our Hotel California members. They can check out any time they like but they can never leave.

The skin is there automatically for mobile devices, if I remember correctly. The system recognizes the mobile device and offers that skin.
