You going crazy yet over all this?
Why are you using IE6 any way?
I know a year ago on the other old PC with 98SE I have FF2 but also had Netscape 7.01 I keep on there. Use it to check sites that did not work right in FF or I could not get the flash to work but it worked in Netscape. Plus I could edit saved web pages.
What you don't know aint worth knowing O wise One

I think I'm gonna revert to IE7, IE8 is really slow and my pc has been acting up, in fact I can't access the internet at home but that's another story!

Sorry IE8 ain't treating you right at home. Ya outta be treated right at home. Slowness was one of the reasons why I was never interested in it. Yet MS keeps pushing it.

IE had a patch this pass update to deal with the IE8 starting up really slow that worked.

Hey check you Belarc Advisor too bu.

There is also a newer version that just came out.
See the fun I am having.

I posted here how SP3 really slowed down my PC but that was back last summer when SP3 was new. I blocked it after I took it off and PC was faster again.
IE8 came out and I installed it but it was slow starting and making changes in IE. So I took it off and went back to IE7.
Later the blocking on SP3 ended and it was showing up again from MS Update.
I installed SP3 but the PC seem to act faster this time.
I also got IE8 and the trouble I had with it was gone. But one of the MS updates was a fix for IE8.

I have IE8 and SP3 on the XP machines here, no issues that I'm aware of.
