It is somehow clear now. Probably special characters: hyphens & under-scores cannot be used. The one who is responsible for the library script should check if those characters are not allowed in the script and enable them maybe.

I think that's a limitation of MediaWiki (the software that runs such sites as Wikipedia), but I'm not sure if there's a way around it... we'll have to do some work on that.

I've had some eCommerce sites reject my email address because it contains a dash, probably the same lame coders at work. If it's legal character in the context, they should be able to figure it out.

That would be consistent with my test too as the name had a symbol in it.

Perhaps there is a way to "escape" the symbol characters.
Try TBH\-LSVC or TBH/-LSVC or TBH^-LSVC for example.
No telling if there even is an escape symbol, or what it is though.

Well at least it's figured out why some accounts don't work.

I wonder if it's fixed in a newer version of MediaWiki? the current one being used is a bit old...

Users with dashes in their username should now be able to login. I am working on the underscore users.

Users with underscores in their username should now be able to login, however, due to a Wiki constraint the username will appear with a space rather than an underscore.

Cheers
