Loading an attachment through this site
Could you tell me how this works? I click on the little icon where my cursor is pointing and uploaded a file/image and then clicked on the little icon again but the image didn`t show.[img=http://img6.imageshack.us/img6/2032/attacho.th.jpg]

After uploading close the window and then post your message
the attachment will not preview

In some forums the link appears when i click on that little icon and then click on the link and it puts"attach(a number)attach in the message body and the image can be seen in preview. [img=http://img374.imageshack.us/img374/871/link2.jpg]

you can 'up-load' an image from your computer - [as an attachment]
-OR-
i think you need to be a 'paid' member to be able to post the pic IN the message body
-UNLESS- it's from a 'web source' where you can post the url when you click the 'pic icon'

These "generic" instructions work for uploading images here unless you have some issue at your end.

You can then use PAINT to trim to suit, and save it as a JPG format file. To upload it to TSG, open the full reply window and use the Manage Attachments button to upload it here.

ps: these are the urls i used - to see HOW they are 'formatted' to be able to be posted -






click the 'quote' button and you can see the 'formatting that was done to the urls - [then just click cancel so you don't post again]
