yes.
however it wont let you share the menu bar with another row
In ie6,I could share the row with the address bar the after choosing small icons without text,i had a nice clean looking efficiant setup.
I am taking up twice the space with ie8 at the top that I did with ie6
there is no way to reduce it anymore,as ms took away customization ability,,,probably because people were having trouble getting thier tool bars right after something was moved or if something was uninstalled that came with a toolbar.
In ie6 I had all that crap down to 2 little sweet rows and that included the navigation buttons

Relax dear.....

I only use IE6 for TSG. I use FF for everything else. And that's just to drive Mike crazy......and, I think it's working.

I don't like the interface of IE7 or 8 and I don't really like FF either, just use it out of necessity.

Everything seems to be loading fine here...

I think I might have had some trouble loading pages a few times but it's rare.

Why not hide the menubar? I notice if I type the alt key it pops up, so it's still easy to get to.
I only have one bar at the top of IE8 (not counting the tab bar)

There are many more browsers than IE and FF you know?

Hop around maybe you'll like a few.

I'm a big fan of tabs, though I go a little crazy sometimes, there's times I'll have well over 100 tabs open.

You're Welcome.

Yes it should get natural eventually, I try to do something similar in any browser I use.
I only ever want the tab bar and address bar.

Gizzy, thanks, I remembered I have K-Meleon on the computer, so I will try this one for a while and see what happens.
100 tabs? I am afraid to open more than 5.
And what does it mean: Experience: Trained monkey? You or you trained monkies. I am a bit slow, so bear with my stupid question.

having a thunderstorm here right now and get kicked off often.
So now I will include in my studies (this problem) also if the weather effects pages.
I know, sometimes one can't get to the bottom of the page to post because it won't move.
