Solved: Can a Mod help with my signature, please?
Hello dear mods and admins,

I didn't want to take your time away from more important questions from other members... ~as a mod and sometimes admin myself, I know how valuable your time is ~... but I am stumped and would appreciate any help you could offer me.

I have been trying to modify my signature for a few days, but I keep getting this same error:

-------------------------
The following errors occurred with your submission:

1. Your signature contains too many lines and must be shortened. You may only have up to 3 line(s). Lines of text longer than 120 characters may have been implicitly wrapped, causing it to be counted as multiple lines. (Unfortunately, code counts toward the 120 character limit.)
2. BB code size value is too big.
-----------------------------

I know that there are new rules about the length of signatures...
My old signature used to take two lines. I found a new phrase and decided to change it a few weeks ago.
This new signature is only one line and I don't think it is over 120 characters?...
This is the new phrase:
-------------------------
"The most important trip you can take in life, is meeting people halfway"
--------------------------

I wanted to add my name above that line like this:

~*Susan*~

I have tried it with and without the extra characters...
Tried deleting the signature and start a new one...
Tried clearing the cache and cookies...
Logged off and on again... but I still get the same error.
I don't know what I am doing wrong ...
Could someone give me a few minutes of your time, please?

Thank you in advance for your help.

Susan

Looks like it's there the way you want it, did someone already catch this?

John, I think the word "Susan" part of the body of the post, not the sig itself. The sig in her other posts only shows the quotation below the short solid line. It does seem to have an extra bit of blank space between the solid line and the quote.

Sorry, I looked at the line, and not the part below that clearly told us what was wrong. I'll read better next time.
