Solved: Blank Space
When I open a thread, I get a full page of white space before the text ofthe thread shows.

Why is that?

I haven't heard this one before so can you please give us more information.

Does it happen all the time or sporadically?

What server are you on when it happens?

What browser are you using?

Every time on two separate pc's

What server are you on when it happens?

Unknown . . how do I tell?

What browser are you using?

IE8
Edit: just tried FF and it works fine . . guess it might be a bug in IE8 or one of my settings.

That does seem likely.

For future reference, to see what server you are on, scroll down to the bottom left side of the page and under the different skin options, you'll see where it says: You are using: server x

The site should automatically load in "compatibility mode" in IE8 -- it shows a ripped page in the address bar. You might want to make sure that's showing up properly, or double-check your settings. Let us know what you find!

I have added the site to the compatible list . . no change . . what other settings could be envolved?

This is the only place I see this.

That's great. I suggest you delete your TSG cookie (or clear them all if you wish) and grab a new one. The cookie is on me and I'll even buy you a cup of coffee to wash it down.
