So i figured I would wait a couple days for yahoo to get their act together.
While ago I went to my account and changed back my default subscription to instant notification by email....it did not change my subscribed threads back to prior value.
For an experiment I unsubscribed from a thread then resubscribed to instant notification,,,went to my account and changed the setting to no email notification...went back to my subscribed threads and the thread I just re subscribed to was not affected,,,it kept the setting.
So to sum up..how do I get all my threads back to instant email notifications?

You can't restore previous subscription notifications. But you can access them from the Quick Links drop down menu or also from "My Account". | | Distinguished Member with 7,893 posts. | | Join Date: Nov 2008 Location: Elsewhere Experience: NA | | They arent switching back after someone posts..i am having to unsubscribe and the subscribe again.
For instance I got a subscription to the countdown thread..there was a post about 30 minutes ago
In my account[list subscriptions} it still says none under notification | | Administrator with 63,628 posts. | | Join Date: Aug 2003 Location: Quebec, Canada | | Maybe they don't refresh then until you post again. Try logging off and clearing cookies anyway but it probably won't solve the problem (but worth a try). | | Distinguished Member with 7,893 posts. | | Join Date: Nov 2008 Location: Elsewhere Experience: NA | | I just logged out
went to thread made a post went to my subscriptions ..it still said none for notification....Still no joy
Is there a way for me to change them without un subscribing and then resubscribing?

If so, did you try in My Account? | | Distinguished Member with 7,893 posts. | | Join Date: Nov 2008 Location: Elsewhere Experience: NA | | They are there, but i have no way to switch back my notification from none,

On the left side under Subscribed Threads click on List Subscriptions.
Then put a check mark in the box at the top right (beside the word notification) and this will automatically select every thread on the page.
Then go to the bottom and beside "Selected Threads" click on the arrow and from the drop down menu, under the heading Update subscription type, choose Instant email notification.

So you just have to put the check mark once at the top to select them all and follow the rest of the steps I outlined. | | Distinguished Member with 7,893 posts. | | Join Date: Nov 2008 Location: Elsewhere Experience: NA |
