Thumbs down techguy loads slowly in browsers
techguy.org is wonderful website but it loads very slowly in mozilla firefox.

My internet connection is fast its download and upload speed is 30KBPS and above

I use wireless connection.

You need to do something in order for your website to open fast like other popular forums.

I'm using the latest 3.5 FF version and I've noticed all of my web sites take an age to load.

i use latest 3.5.3 i noticed in firefox status bar where advertisements are loading slowly.

I am residing in india, all other website loads faster.

I think advertisement banners are taking time to load.

Might want to try turning off any extensions you have -- maybe they are slowing you down and/or aren't completely compatible with FF 3.5 yet.

Actually the adds seem to slow me down, too. Wasn't that way when I was a donating member...(I know, where's my wallet? )

I find it painfully slow to load also, this is a fairly recent event but would be at least a month. Only this site, everywhere else seems ok.

Because I can't see this problem, it's difficult to troubleshoot. If the folks experiencing the problem could post some basic information, it'd be helpful... (the things mentioned in the READ THIS FIRST sticky -- server #, browser, os, etc) Also, try the troubleshooting steps in that thread (temporarily disable Internet filters, ad removers, etc. to see if it helps)

techguy admin advertisement servers are making your website load slow this thing happens only on your website since you have added advertisement code from different servers

your website is neat and clean but loading time is really slow it has to be fast.

Try visiting techguy.org from cybercafe/netcafe

It isn't slow for me, so it's difficult to troubleshoot without any information. We don't have cybercafes around here.

a suggestion why not add advertisement in the bottom of the page so the question and answers loads first then advertisement loads this way the page will load faster.
