Wink show similar threads at the bottom of every topic
haye,

why not show similar threads at the bottom of every topic so people reading topics or post can directly go to the topic which are similar and find solution instead of posting same topics.

i have seen on many website that uses it.

Unfortunately, that's not possible with the size of this site -- the search engine simply isn't capable of doing it. We're looking into purchasing a new search engine solution, which should be available in a few months, but it isn't cheap.

Good point, maybe you'd like to contribute to the cost of upgrades that would include your points...

I'm not saying that it wouldn't be nice -- I'm saying that it's not possible, at least not until a new search engine becomes available for us to purchase.

I always search firs if I have a problem and find many threads to read on this site, but if my problem is different, I ask.
One should assume to take time and look first, miracles and instant answers cost money.

Even Google brings up several TSG answers for a question.
