I`ve heard that it`s possible to be logged in to a forum permanently and not have to log in all the time. Sometimes i`ve seen "do you want Firefox to remember this password" but not on all forums. Even if i do select remember it doesn`t help with permament login. When i sign in i tick the box beside username. My attachments show how i have some things set in tool>options etc., Can someone have an answer?

It's probably because you have cookies set to be deleted when you close Firefox. If you want information retained, the cookies have to stay.

Change Keep Until to read "until they expire" from the drop down menu.

Or you could not accept cookies at all other than those in Exceptions. If you want to do that, uncheck "Allow cookies" and click on exceptions and add the following with the designation "Allow":

techguy.org
forums.techguy.org

You will have to do that for any sites that you have to log into.
