Location of members as a requirement
Hi
It would be very helpful for people like myself and anybody else that helps people with their problems to know, where they are in the world, so that we know roughly when somebody is likely to be available.
I have noticed a number of new members are not saying where they are located, and you help them, and sometimes its great if you can repond with them whilst things are still in your head and fresh.

So I guess what I am asking, is for people joining to be forced to indicate what country they are from. Small thing but very useful for those helping them. It can also be useful in the sense that sometimes the Englsh is not always the best as you might expect, but it does help for us to be very careful how we correspond with that person.

e.g. if I was to say "You'm gooin all round the Wrekin aer kid"

Somebody in Pakistan may have great difficulty understanding that.

I might have to say "You are going round in circles"

just a thought.

This was previously discussed, and making it a requirement is probably not in the cards.

I agree with the idea of making it a strong suggestion when they sign up, but I suspect that's as far as we can take it.

Ok John. Certainly a strong suggestion and the reason why, would be very helpful.

I like the idea of a specific suggestion when newbies sign up, and that suggestion has been made to the administration. The question remains if it will be acted upon.
