Just a few minutes ago I posted a note and the time indicated in the posting is showing 2 hours later than it is here in NE. So I guess it still isn't fixed. Not real critical but just wondering why that would be. It is 11:52 here..right now.

Thanks.

It's currently 20:12 here.

Edit: and that's what the board gives me for the posting time.

Sounds like your timezone settings are off. It's 11:23 here right now.

Is that the correct time for your location?

Are you sure? This is not what I see for you. It says Eastern Time with DST in effect, which of course is incorrect.

I just changed it to Central Time (USA & Canada) with DST not in effect so in fact it's GMT -6 hours.

Thanks. Where I checked was at the 'time clock' in the task bar. Where were you able to change it... Just curious.

This is a setting on your computer and that would mean that your computer time is not set for the correct region.

I checked in your profile, which I can access through the admin. CP and you can access that section through "My Account" and "Edit Options" then near the bottom "Date and Time Options.

Assuming you are running XP, go to the Control Panel and click on Date and Time and then on the Time Zone tab and select your time zone from the drop down menu.

Trying to figure out how to post a picture of the time setting.... so you can see what the computer is showing... (dummy me here).
But it is set for central time as stated above.
Thanks for you information and help.

Sorry, that was my misunderstanding. I thought you said the setting in the Task Bar was EST.

Then your computer is showing the correct time zone and now I've fixed the setting here at TSG to reflect that as well so hopefully you should be fine now.

If you have any more troubles with it though please report them back here.
