Solved: Timing
Just curious..... is it possible that the clocks for posting the time of messages is still on daylight savings time? I just read a couple that show after 4:00 pm today and it is only a bit after 3:00 pm. No problem just wondering.

For some reason, in your profile, it was showing that DST was still in effect. I've changed that so please let me know if it reflects the correct time now.

Hi Cookiegal

Me again on the time issue, also.
Saw this thread and checked the time listed at the bottom of this TSG web page and the TSG time is one hour ahead of the correct time and listed as GMT -4 both before I log in and after I log in.

Hmmm.....I see it's not right when I log out but when I'm logged in it's fine.

So it must be only certain time zones that are affected for some reason.

Mike needs to update the board's time.

Sorry for opening a can of worms (tehe). Just that a curious mind wanted to know.
Actually, I love this site, both what I can contribute and especially all that I have been able to learn...
Thanks for making it available for us.

No problem at all, Vicks! As I always say, "if I don't know there's a problem, I can't fix it!"

Just pointing out>

Currently, the TSG time is seen correctly before I log in, but after logging in, it's still wrong, being one hour greater.

Check your settings in My Account (http://forums.techguy.org/profile.php?do=editoptions) -- under Time Zone, make sure DST is set for Automatic.

The same thing happened with vicks Mike and I just checked Jack's as well. Their options were set to automatically detect DST settings but they both also still indicated that DST is currently in effect. I have changed this now for Jack (changed it before for vicks) so his should be OK but for some reason only some users didn't update although their settings were correct.
