Yep, I never checked the index page but sure enough, it does show a list of subscribed threads however, it doesn't alter the fact that I was seeing forums I wasn't subscribed to and a list of the threads within them yet it wasn't consistent as sometimes no side panel appeared.

I'm now seeing the Site Comments & Suggestions panel, I guess it's because this thread is in the said forum.

Thanks, everyone! Just to be clear, there are TWO different panels being discussed here. The new one is "Subscribed Threads" which appears only on the main Forums page. The other is recent posts, which is named with the forum you're currently in. The latter shows any recent post, regardless of whether or not you have subscribed to any of them. Hope that helps.

thanks for the clarification Mike, I wouldn't have seen the Subscribed Threads panel as I rarely look at the main Forums page, nice additions though
