Arrow Solved: Logging in from other than home computer.
My question is: If I am away from home, can I log in to TSG from another computer?

Thanks in advance.

If I understand what you are asking... sure. You simply enter your name and password, and you're good to go.

I can't go anywhere without my TSG; , so I log in from the nearest computer. Friends will invite me to their house, with the caveat that I stay off the computer.

Oh yes. I was getting a dig in at California. That's all.

I'm sure I'll pay for it shortly.

....the other members responses, you won't have any problems logging in here on someone else's computer !
When I lived in the U.S., and had traveled to England for a vacation, I did the exact opposit of Dotty, and had no problems.
When I visit my friends in Dusseldorf, I log in for my daily TSG fix without any problems whatsoever.

One word of warning

I was on dial up in the States, before I moved over here to Holland, the same as you are (at least I think you are still using dial up) and it was the only experience I had with using the interet. I had no idea what I was missing, until moving here. Holland is a relatively small country ( 16 million plus,in population) so there is no such thing as dial up.
All internet connections here are fast, 10mb or better. You could have knocked my socks off, when I discovered how fast the internet could be, when I was using it, and at the time I was using what would now be considered a dinosauer of a P.C. (pentium 3, with 256mb ram, runnning XP )

anyway, if you use a friends computer, and it is on a faster connection than dial up,you are going to be absolutely spoiled after your first experience with it ( kinda like watching tv,or a movie on a plasma, or lcd tv after years of watching on a standard tv)

so be ready for the experience!
Best of luck !

Sure, just make sure the other computer doesn't remember your user name and password. Otherwise you might, later on, have somebody post as you. Whether that will be a deterioration or an improvement remains to be seen.
