Exclamation Connection Problems This Morning
Don't know what's going on, but have been having outages down here for hours... looks like things might be back up, hopefully for a while.

As soon as I get some real info, I'll pass it on.

For some reason, the guys at Spring decided to upgrade the ATMs in this area that also run the backbone for this site... (Personally, I might not have picked the eve of 9-11 to make such changes, but that might just be my own paranoia =)...

Anyway, they seem to have tracked things down to a single bad wire in one of the ATMs... *crosses fingers*

Hi: I noticed that. I couldn't get to here at all between 9 a.m. and 10 a.m. Kept saying site was experiencing difficulties. Now I can get here, but when I go to another forum it says unable to display page. But at least I'm here....and don't tell my Mom that Uncle Hal got me up late and I'm heading to school now. Thanks. William

The good thing is that once this is all worked out, we should have a pretty swell connection... just have to manage thru this morning, though. And it would have been nice to know whent they were planning to do this, even if it was only supposed to take 10 minutes.

Went down last night here for about a hour or so and then off and on.

Got these here.

The firewall has blocked Internet access to your computer (ICMP Unreachable) from 65.118.218.166.

Occurred: 2 times between 9/10/02 9:01:44 PM and 9/10/02 9:02:32 PM

Then the site went down

The firewall has blocked Internet access to your computer (ICMP Unreachable) from 63.144.130.162.

Occurred: 12 times between 9/10/02 10:27:10 PM and 9/10/02 10:29:10 PM

Just now it was down but after a couple tries it worked.

Have had problems all day here (United Kingdom) - "Page Cannot be Displayed" errors. When I do get back to the site cannot post replies or move around properly.

Hope problem is soon fixed for you.

I don't know how to read into the stats on this site... but maybe this has something to do with the outages... ?

I could not even get the forums to resolve this morning, so I could not even pull a trace by name.

I tried using the IP address (I have it in my hosts file, since our DNS server at the Supercomputer Authority likes to crap out about once a week, got to have my Techguy fix ) of techguy.org and it was timing out pretty early while heading out of Atlanta up the coast.

I thought it was Mulder deleting posts again. Thought maybe he had gone too far this time and deleted the whole site.
