Exclamation Is Spybot Search and Destroy still in development?
I havent used this program in years but sometimes want a new opinion from an old friend

However, the server downloaded updates from 09-11 and my version is 1.62.46

I like this program because it finds cookies and trackers that MBAM doesn't seem to pick up. I could probably just delete all cookies on browser exit, but my 20 tabs and browser NEVER closes. Wish I finished my work and could delete everything.

Is it still being updated, is there an alternative?

I get the impression that it's still being updated but is no longer the leader it once was. That said, it's still a valuable part of a layered security model.

Meanwhile SuperAntiSpyware is often recommended. It also takes out tracking cookies.
