<blink> <marquee scrollamount=500 scrolldelay=400> "tech guy"</marquee> </blink>

PHP Code:
<blink> <marquee scrollamount=500 scrolldelay=400"tech guy"</marquee> </blink

the blink tag is used in Netscape and the marquee tag is for IE. Combining themmeans that the blink will occur in both browsers.

You could alternatively do this through CSS too. If you plan to use it on quite a lot of pages or with a lot of (and please, please DON'T!), I'd recommend making an external stylesheet and put text-decoration: blink; in the appropriate section.

been using the blinking for days now, however i need to fine tune it. the blinking tends to move to the left every so often,i'd like to stop that.

thanks

If the blinking text is contained in a cell/table that has no set size or a smaller size than possible then perhaps the browser resizes between blinks which causes it to shift every once in a while. Doubt it, but it's a start.
