Help me with shared borders colour.
I have a plain white background for my webpage I want a coloured left hand side border to make it look better. How do I colour in the shared borders? Because the backgrounds I find on the net with white and then sides are either too big or too small for my vertical navigation bar. Check my site out at:

http://martinclapp.tripod.com/

click on one of the links at the top to see the vertical navigation bar which is on all pages except the home one. Thanks.

I'm not quite understanding. You just want a border on the side of your page? Or you want a different background color on the navigation bar?
Here is the code for a border on the side of the page
&ltstyle type="text/css"&gt
border-left: solid 1px #000000
&lt/style&gt.
That will create a black border 1 pixel wide on the left side of the screen. It goes in the HEAD section of your HTML

I'm not quite sure myself. It doesn't matter actually I think my site looks ok. But look at http://www.diabloii.net and look at the side where all the links are that looks good doesn't it?

I think the black bacground and the log borders are really good- I wouldn't change it at all!
