aligning in internetexplorer
i'm confused i'm just in the middle of creating a website for my girlfriend and i just can't get the tag board to align quite right
the url is http://www3.telus.net/mwahmwah

i want the tag board to be positioned at the very bottom of the page and the very left of the page

it aligns fine when you look at it through netscape (all though netscape sucks for my iframe which is a totally different problem)

any ideas?? perhaps there's a different way i can align it to the bottom??

Do you want it outside the area with the graphic in it?

Hey Notsobright,

I think I understand that you want the tag board aligned on the left of your girlfriend's page and not on that neat graphic. I took a look at the javascript on the page and it seems to me that you can change the location by editing this script: td width="200" height="80" to a different location.

I assume you got the script from TagBooard and pasted it into you html editor. Just go into the code , look for the location tag, and change it.

I hope I was able to make myself clear.

LOL! I think you should put the PHP tags around your code so that it doesn't actually affect the alignment on your post...

ahh i want it in the graphic but...
call me picky.... in internet explorer it's a little bit off the bottom border of the graphic (or the table around the graphic)

and i really want it aligned exactly at the bottom of the graphic

if you look at it with netscape it's aligned properly

but for some reason in internet explorer it aligns aprox 1/4 inch off of the bottom.... my guess is it's just the way internet explorer is designed but i figured i'd ask just to see if there's away around it

thanks for all the replies so far

oh and for the most part i use notepad because tables and such don't like to align quite right in any editor i'v found

I understand. Heck I'm a picky engineer and everything should be just so. But alas, this issue is several pay-grades above my understanding for the difference in IE vs Netscape.

It could be the script tags that call the "remember me" function.

IE might be adding another line because of those tags. IE does, things like that sometimes.

It could also be some of the white space betwen those script tags and the form.

It aligns properly in Opera though.
