puting a program in a webpage
Hello

Is it possible to put a downloadable program (small one) so the program works from the web page?
Meaning they dont have to download it them selves but they can run the program by clicking on an icon.

Take a look at this link and Let me know if you can.

Thxs for all your help.

No, that would be a security risk if anyone could make you run any executable program from a webpage.
You could try rewriting the program in a web language, HTA or ActiveX.

Could you not just upload all the program files and have the program run from the server using a button linked to the exe file?

Not unless it is an application meant to be run across a network. Otherwise all of the installation files would have to be installed on your local drive...so what would be the point.

I think there's a program that allows executables to be run from webpages. It requires a plug-in to be installed to the users browser, but because of security issues not many people actually bother.
