C++ Build Error
I have recently installed Visual C++ on my computer. Once I code a program, I get this error:
--------------------Configuration: MD5 - Win32 Debug--------------------
Linking...
LIBCD.lib(wincrt0.obj) : error LNK2001: unresolved external symbol _WinMain@16
Debug/MD5.exe : fatal error LNK1120: 1 unresolved externals
Error executing link.exe.

MD5.exe - 2 error(s), 0 warning(s)

I can't figure out how to fix it. When I compile it, there is no problem. I have checked and rechecked the code, the code is fine.

Because you started a new Win32 app but are trying to write a console app?

if your main function is int main() or void main() then you need to change the linker subsystem to console. In visual c++ 7 (.net) you can change the value at: Project Properties | Linker | System | SubSystem so that it is in console mode.

If I am totally off base, then post some more details because I did a lot of assuming

It works
Yeah, that worked. I don't know what I was thinking. Thanks!
