CGI error
I'm trying to make a form in a client website but I keep getting this error:

CGI Error
The specified CGI application misbehaved by not returning a complete set of HTTP headers. The headers it did return are:

Too late for "-T" option at D:\WebSites\egetec.ca\cgi-bin\FormMail.pl line 1.

I have no idea what it means so I'm not sure what to do about it. Anyone?

What does line 1 of the FormMail.pl say? You probably need to modify the script for the server it is on.

The very first line in the script says this:

#!/usr/bin/perl -wT

I've used this script before on other sites and it worked fine. According to the instructions there are only a few lines that I needed to modify, which I have done. Beyond that I am lost.

Is the script in the proper directory on the server with the proper rights to run the script??

Not sure. The website is www.egetec.ca/test/index.html so I put the script in www.egetec.ca/test/cgi-bin/FormMail.pl however when it didn't work I also put the script in www.egetec.ca/cgi-bin/FormMail.pl just in case. Not sure what you mean by rights. How can I change those? Thanks for your help.

Looks like your script needs to be in the /usr/bin/perl directory on the server. Ask the web admin if the folder the script runs in needs any special access like write permissions.

I usually just put it in the website/cgi-bin directory and it works great so I don't think it needs to go anywhere else I will ask though. How do I change the permissions?
