Unicode version of GSM
hi all,
i wanted to start sms in unicode for displaying text in punjabi and hindi.

does someone know what version of unicode is supported by most mobile phones. can i use Unicode 4.0 without any hesitation or will it create any display problems on some phone models?

please suggest a considerably safe version of unicode to implement.
