File commands in "Rapid-q" BASIC
I've posted in the software forum, asking about a program called "RPC Magic". I used to use it to randomly change my wallpaper/sounds at bootup. Now that I'm using XP Pro, "RPC Magic" doesn't work.

I've looked for updates and there are none suitable. I've looked for an alternative. Couldn't find any. Nearest I got was "Dynamic Desktop". Then... I thought that I might be able to write something in BASIC. Not a very high-powered language, I know, but I used to use it and AMOS on my old Amiga and got quite proficient in it. Had a look for some decent BASIC packages and found "Rapid-q". I looks like it'll do what I want AND it works with XP Pro. Then... I hit a snag. I can't, for the life of me, remember the commands for file operations, such as "Copy", "Move", "Delete", etc. I've looked in the .chm file and searched their website, but I'm non the wiser. Can anybody point me in the right direction, here, please?

Cheers!

Cancel that. I've just found a program called "RandomCopy" which I can use (And have used) in a batch file. Works a treat!

Ho-hum.
