Question Way to find actual MySQL host using PHP?
I'm hosting a website on lycos.co.uk, is there a way I can use PHP or something to find the actual MySQL server. I know you can reference to it as localhost, but is there a way to find the actual IP/Domain Name of the MySQL host?

Any help will be greatly appreciated,

I'm guessing you want to connect to that database from another host. Sorry, Lycos won't allow that

If you do want the IP, just ping the website.
