Book advice sought: css, php
I'm needing some help updating my skills: Last time I coded pages as a job was in, lessee, 1998... I've been drafted into being a webmaster again (long story), and I find I really need to update my skills. Another long story, but much of my work is in good 'ol raw HTML.

I need suggestions on a good "Learn It Yourself" type manual for css, for starters. Am I right to think I can create page templates using external style sheets?

I also want to learn a programming language I can use in my webpages, I'm told that php would be a good one to learn for my particular work environment - any suggestions of a similar type book?

What else should I learn to be competitive as a webmaster in today's environment?

Any help appreciated!
