Question Java or VB.net
I am seeking a degree in Internet services. I have taken VB.net and I am now taking Java. Seems like I understand Java better. Could be instructor, book...just don't know.
I would like to hear from programmers out there on their language preference and why.
Thanks and looking forward to your input.

With VB.net you will remain stuck to Windows platform. With Java, you become more versatile. VB.net may be easier to program, Java may need some more efforts.

This is just my personal opinion.
