Text not coming on right position in Netscape 7
Please see the attachment.

The text on the image coming perfectly viewed in IE and opera but in Netscape 7 the text not coming properly (coming little down outside the image) and we can't convert overlap layers into tables in DreamweaverMX. Please help me how to solve this proble without CSS so the text coming in the same place in all the browsers.

Removing the paragraph format and setting it to none brings it within the background, maybe using a cell would justify it.

Looking at it again, you need to start using the target browser check in the results pane. You keep using the paragraph format, and it isn't supported in many browsers. Using the target browser check will tell you the unsupported tags you're using, you might also try getting used to the split view, both the wysiwyg, and the code view.

Thanks Downtime, you are absolutely right by removing the paragragh format it solves little bit of problem but in both the browsers it is not 100% similar after removing the paragraph format. Please suggest me why ? and it can be solved.

Using a cell u mean "Drawing a cell" in the layout mode. I don't know how to use it u know any tutorial link on the net.

Thanks for the Target Browser Check tip.

are a couple. Best to just search for them, tutorials come and go, and if you find a good one, save it. If you want a look at how tables are used, pick a couple of sites you like in Internet Explorer or Netscape, click on file, save as, web page complete and save it to the desktop. Now open Dreamweaver, click on file, open, navigate to the desktop, and select one of the sites you saved. For example, google.com. Now you can see how they use the tables to build their pages.

There are a couple of tutorials here, a good start if you use fireworks, too. I really like how fireworks will export and create all the pages named by links on the navbar you create. It will create a blank page with navbar named for every link you create, and then you fill in the content.

will return you some interesting stuff.
