How to not allow people to right click on a webpage?
I have created a webpage and I don't want to allow anyone to right click on a picture to copy it. I am using Dreamweaver MX. How do I go about this? I'm a newbie so be easy on me.

Thanks for your help!

there is javascript for that, however since anyone can turn off JS you are pretty much wasting your time.

Once placed on the net, photos are practically a bit of a free for all. The only thing you can really do is place semi transparent watermark across the middle of the photo or reduce the image size/quality to the point where copying is not worth while. Even if you disable right click, it won't stop a basic screen capture program.

All the pictures that are displayed in the browser are first downloaded in some place on the hard disk. It is a bit complicated to extract it in Netscape, but in IE all the files are in the folder called Temprary Internet Files. So it can be easily extracted from there.
