How can I get my Drive List Box to show network drives? All other drives appear OK

May be you need to map them to a drive letter. For example, x: y: z: etc.

Thanx. Yes it works if I map the drive, but I would like to be able to find the drives without mapping them if possible.

From MSDN
Quote:
A DriveListBox control enables a user to select a valid disk drive at run time. Use this control to display a list of all the valid drives in a user's system. You can create dialog boxes that enable the user to open a file from a list of files on a disk in any available drive.
Notice the words valid disk drive. I don't think you can pick it up without mapping. I may be wrong. You can wait here for someone more knowlegeable than me.

AbvAvgUser is right. The drive list box won't show un-mapped network drives.

I thank you folks for your responses. Guess I will have to map the drives.

You are welcome.

What you can do is look thru the web for third party ActiveX controls. Somewhere someone must have made something that you are looking for and may be you will be able to find something that will let you list unmapped network drives.

Or try http://www.visualbasicforum.com
