Hi

Does anyone know how to view multiple records from multiple
tables without using smart buttons and without creating data blocks
in form builder 9.0.
Data blocks are used to create master-detail relationship which brings in
records from multiple tables when executing query with buttons on built in
SmartBar. But I want to design my own menu bar and get rid of SmartBar, therfore I want to know how do I write triggeres to bring up multiple records for detail blocks with custom trigger buttons.

I did solved the problem of viewing records from multiple tables in a master-detail relationship without using smart buttons in Forms builder 9.0. I am using GO_BLOCK() built-in and EXECUTE_QUERY(). Or I can use the LOV.

But now my problem is how to update or insert records from detail blocks without the smart buttons. Recall that I am using custom menus and I have no smart buttons to save my records. I want to do by triggers associated with buttons.
