Unhappy help make logo background disapear
If anyone knows how to help me with making a canvas of a logo in fireworks
invisable they would be a godsend...my brother paid for a logo design and I wanted to use the logo minus the text on another part of the website so I used the magic wand feature to copy the parts I wanted to a new file then used the fit to canvas feature and modify canvas color to transparent.

First problem: inserted layer on site using dreamweaver then inserted image in layer but when preview site there is still some canvas color in background.

Second problem: tried to work around that by changing canvas color to similar website background but canvas is square and want circle logo inside circle spot on site and square canvas extends into circle spot on site covering other layer.

Third problem: tried to work around by making circle canvas but can't figure out how to if it even can be done.

Perplexed,

Sean

Have you got photoshop or photoshop elements, sometimes when saving as a jpg you lose the transparency - try saving as gif
