DNS Socket question
I was wondering, after using the gethostbyname() function in C/C++, how do I change the returned ip in h_addr_list[0] to a standard dot IP: 657.902.876.094 (something like that)?

No, the function gethostbyname() returns a hostent stucture. Which looks like this:
Code:
struct  hostent {
        char* h_name; /* official name of host */
        char** h_aliases;         /* alias list */
        short    h_addrtype;      /* host address type */
        short    h_length;         /* length of address */
        char** h_addr_list;      /* list of addresses */
};
