Hi everyone-

Can someone fill me in on the difference between PostgreSQL versus another version such as MySQL or IngreSQL.

Many thanks!!!

They each have different features. A lot has changed over the last few years, but postgres has better fully functioning relational DB features while mysql has been playing catch up. I have been reading that for smaller simpler things mysql is faster. I don't know about that third one. I have never looked into it. You just need to go through the feature list and see which has what you need. If I had it all to do over again I probably would have started out using postgres, but I have a ton of stuff in mysql and the conversion is not trouble free.
