Violation error occurred at C:\Windows\Systems\RICHED32.DLL
While loading a medical transcription training software on my home PC, midway I get the following two messages after clicking "Ignore" as I go by:

(1)"Violation error occurred at C:\Windows\Systems\RICHED32.DLL"

(2) "An occurred while registering the file C:\Windows\Systems\EXPSRV.DLL

No entry point for DLL Register Server () was found"

By ignoring the above errors, on completion of installaton, when I click at the requisite MTTS.exe file, I get the message: "MTTS CD NOT FOUND" when the same is there in the Samsung 52x24x52 drive!

The CD suppliers claim that to prevent duplication of the CD, they have placed a laser locking software from Greece on the same. In this case, is the software thinking that I may be attempting to duplicate the CD?

This MTTS worked fine until one day on account of frequent shut down problems with my Pentium III 450MHz Win98SE, I had a computer expert repair the same. He simply ran system file checker and replaced a couple of corrupt files (I do not know which ones) by using his own CD instead of mine. And that was that. He sold me and installed IE6.0 in place of IE5.5, and sold & installed McAfee Antivirus in place of expiring Norton System Works 2003 (which I anyhow found too bloody intrusive).

After all the above, and "thorough" scandisk and defragmented, I found that the software did not work. I have installed and removed it a number of times with frequest restarts. The error messages continue to remain the same.

Would be most grateful, if somebody who has had similar problems could guide me. The suppliers of the CD are just not responding. Such problems are happening with other users also.
