Java script
Hio is there anyone out there that can give me a lil help please. i am totally brand new to programming, although i just done a little 8086 at college (nowt flash use a sheet of paper lol) anyway i am wanting to create a java script for my site that will connect to a server. i have no idea on where to start with this and i know it is going to be tough for me to do, but if anyone can give me any help or guides to help me with this i would be truely greatful. what i am trying to do is something simular to www.e-messenger.net if you have a hotmail account goto that site and login and it will show u exactly the type of thing that i am trying to do. the way it is laid out is how i want it. well not exactly like that but simular to that. please as much help as possable would be great,,,guides. programs i need to use etc....

This is not a job for javascript, sorry. You are going to need a serverside programming language (PHP, Perl, ASP) and you are going to have to learn how to use it.
