Hi All,
its about ASP.net. I am in one of the worse situation at this time. I created a nice looking .aspx page, some HTML i typed in manually and some controlds dragged from ToolBox. now I was about to start coding in Code-behind, and I realize that many of the controls I created are not showing up in the code-behind(at top of class e.g. protected System.Web.UI.WebControls.Label lblFrom so I thought to try out going to design view saving my HTML again and come to code-behing to see if the controls are created by itself otherwise I will have to type it by myself which is error prone.
but guess what, I lost 90% of my controls which means HTML is not there anymore. Please dont guess that I never saved them because every single line of code I type I am used to pressing CTRL+S and proof is that I still have IE window open showing all the controls. allthough a new IE window now is only showing abt 10% if the controls.
it took me 5 hrs to design my page and its tough to do it again with that much interest and top of all I dont have time.
