Solved: Access programming question
We had a access program developed for us, and now we want to modify it. The person who wrote is gone to greener pastures.

The question I have is:

How do you query in one table based on user input on a form and place the results into another table. I can get the query to work, but when the form is used the table is not populated. This is a job costing/time card tool. We want to add equipment rate to the data so we can produce job costs per job with the correct equipment rates input from another table. We are newbies to access programming and would love get some help to solve this problem. Anyone interested in helping us out?

Try this...
Join the tables and create a query and have your form pull/input data from/in the query instead of the tables.
