Visual Basic 4.0
Would it be all right to use Visual Basic 4.0? I mean, since it's older it's alot cheaper than the newer versions, but would it make a big difference? Thanks for your help!

There is quite a large difference between VB4 and 6. Although you can wite working apps in 4 there is alot you couldn't do. You can pick up VB6 on ebey pretty cheaply now, I would go for that.

You could also look into .NET if you wanted to using the free editor here:
