Help with myCV
Hi there,

I am currently a database administrator, and i am applying for a Junior Developers job, which i think i have the relevant experience, so just now i'm changing my CV, but i am useless are wording things, could someone help me write a statement in my CV, many thanks

what country are you in, in the UK you tend to write a short profile about yourself in the 3rd person.
also look at your transferable skills NOT just the techie bit.
Try and focus the CV to the job your applying for and bring your skill and experience to meet the job profile.

as i said it depend on the job and company

so if your back office just coding from specifications and functional specs - or working with business analysts or working with customers understanding processes and writing code from there.

or creating the specifications
or software testing

if its POS (point of sale) what applications -
SQL, web, secruity, call handling etc

all very different.

a generic CV - have a look at your management, project management, presentation, communication, team work, leadership, meeting deadlines, timescales
