Enumeratin Network Printer Ports
I have over 600 desktops and 30+ networked printers. I need to build a database of the network printer port ip's on each computer. I had 'help' in setting up the printers and some computers are set to the wrong port ip.
I want to do this via login script. I am familiar with but not expert on batch files, logon scripts, vb script, wmi, etc. I have searched the scripting sites and tried many suggested methods, but none do completely what I want. The closest is a batch file from Rob Vanderwold. It enumerates the printers and drivers, but I cannot get it to enumerate ports.
Has anyone written or found a batch file or vb script that will enumerate installed/configured printers across the network including the printer port IP?

You could run nmap or any other port scanning utility to find out what ports are open on each piece of hardware on your network.

NMap does not reveal printer tcp/ip ports.

Hi, I was wondering if you happen to solve the printer IP address/Port problem? Hoping if you could also share the solution.

email me janverge@gmail.com

Thank you..
