What's Wrong With This HTML Code
This code only displays half the items.

Quote:

<a name=TopicOutlineEN3">Topic Outline
       1. Family:<a href="#1. Family:EN3>[GoTo]
       2. Becomes Assistant:<a href="#2. Becomes Assistant:EN3>[GoTo]
       3. An Education:<a href="#3. An Education:EN3>[GoTo]
       4. High Progress:<a href="#4. High Progress:EN3>[GoTo]
       5. Well, this looked really confusing to me, but if it is just html, all I can see missing is the end quotation marks at the end of your anchor tags, like so..

<a name=#TopicOutlineEN3"> see here, at the end just before the > mark, there should be a closing " mark there, unless I am very out of practise, this is all I can see off hand.

Like belithrawien said, you're missing a bunch of quotation marks in your code. Here's the corrected version:
Code:

Topic Outline
       1. Family:[GoTo]
       2. Becomes Assistant:[GoTo]
       3. An Education:[GoTo]
       4. High Progress:[GoTo]
       5. Rebels Against Authority:[GoTo]
       6. Further History:[GoTo]
       7. Succession:[Goto]
Tested that out and it looks like it should.

I used Tidy, a plug-in used in Html-Kit Build 292 to check code.

Found all the errors in the first set, and here, I'll nitpik

Topic Outline

Tidy replaced the /p tag with a
. I think it does that because the /p is not needed to close the tag, and the
is implied so it is added.

The plug-in isn't always correct. For what it's worth...

Howdeedodee, if you are looking for a good editor, give HTML-Kit a try.
