Is this possibe/can anyone do it???
Hey everyone, I have a question/project for anyone who is willing to help me. I am looking for a program that makes it so right before a new internet page opens (not just a new window, a new page/source) a window pops up and asks me a yes or no question. If I answer yes it finishes loading the page, but if I answer no then the page does not open. I don’t want the page to load prior to the question I want it to wait till after I answer the question. Similar to a password protected internet. Is this possible with IE or Mozilla, hopefully Mozilla? If you have any questions then feel free to ask. Thanks a bunch for all your help.

HLHHMC

PS - I dont have any programming experience so be nice to my brain

Internet Explorer's Content Advisor does this, I believe. Check IE>Tools>Content tab>Content Advisor.

I'm pretty sure Content Advisor has a reverse mode where ALL sites are blocked except for those on the allow list. Whenever you try to open a URL (Any url, even in the same domain, even on a popup) it will ask you for a password. I know this because my parents used to have this enabled for me, it was a pain in the butt to get anywhere. "Can you allow this site for me pleeeease?" "Okay, sure. *types in password*" "Oops. That was a popup. Type in your password again." *types in password* "Oops. That was another popup, dangit. WAIT! COME BACK!!!"

It's been done. You want a proxy server.

The source code for Internet Junkbuster is available. This does everything you need except pop up the requester to ask you the question. You could easily modify it to do this.

While what you're asking may be possible, it's not easy. If you're not familiar with advanced computer concepts, it's unlikely you'll be able to achieve this yourself.

If you tell us what your goal is, perhaps we can help find a better solution. Having someone click a Yes button every time a web page opens doesn't sound all that purposeful.

Google is your friend.

Well...not really since they are spying on you, but if you google on "internet junkbuster" you'll have everything you need.

Let me amend that last statement of mine.

You'll have everything that is needed. If you are an amateur at programming, you probably won't be able to take advantage of it.

I find it quite difficult if you don't have programming experience.
Anyway, if we're talking for popup blocker, it's easy configuring your Mozilla Firefox to block and ask for your permission.
